Founded in 2000, the light bulb moment came when Hollie, who was working in a Letting Agency at the time, had a relocation agent contact her looking to relocate some employees for 12 months. At that time, there were no furnished properties available, so the agency had to turn the business away.

From this initial idea Hollie set up a 1-page website and put it out there to see what the response would be. A few orders start to come in and organically Instant Home grew, purchasing land and building warehousing and offices to enable them to fully support their rapidly expanding customer base.   “We are proud that institutions such as Cambridge University, the Blackstone Group and Mercedes F1 Team trust our award winning team to deliver their furniture rental needs” says Hollie.

Today the company caters for people needing emergency furniture, furniture for rented property, property staging as well as the relocation customers.

The Bigger Picture

Environmental commitments

Instant Home analyse all aspects of the business on a regular basis looking at what can be done to minimise their impact on the environment. One of these initiatives is sending used furniture to local families and individuals, which not only prolongs its life but also supports those in need within the community.

Community commitments

Instant Home have supported various charities over the years from a young local sports hopeful to the larger Cancer Research charity. In 2023 we will commit once more to raising funds and offering support to those in the community.
