Cancer Research UK

For two consecutive years the female members of the Instant Home team have taken part in the Cambridge 5k Race for Life raising money for Cancer Research UK.

We have proudly raised £2822 for this worthy cause.  The statistics are beyond worrying:  Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.  Events like Race for Life help Cancer Research continue their ground-breaking work, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.  Already we look forward to next year’s event!

Against Breast Cancer

Here at Instant Home all of our used ink cartridges are sent to this fantastic charity, researching and working towards a vaccine for breast cancer.  Find out about this commendable charity and its fascinating history at https://www.againstbreastcancer.org.uk/

Sofia Pita

Instant Home is proudly sponsoring Sofia Pita, an aspiring squash star!  Sofia is 17 years old, dedicated and ambitious.  Despite only starting to play squash at the age of 13 Sofia is showing huge potential, she is influenced immensely by family members, having been introduced to the sport by her uncle and through her regular training session with her father, Nelio.

Here at Instant Home we are passionate about active lifestyles and healthy living and we are proud to support such an incredible talent.  Sofia will be receiving coaching and training kit, as well as moral support from the whole team at Instant Home!  Follow our Blog for regular updates on Sofia’s progress and competitions.

Amelia’s Appeal

Earlier this year Instant Home hosted an online auction for a truly unique piece of Formula One memorabilia – a champagne bottle signed by some of the biggest names in the F1 industry, including Christian Horner, Daniel Ricciardo, Max Vertappen, Martin Brundle, Eddie Jordon and David Coulthard to name a few.

The memorabilia sold for an amazing £2100 with funds going to the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre at Nottingham University in loving memory of Amelia Sellens.
